Widely acclaimed for its fine cuisine, excellent service and spectacular view The Sundial Restaurant Bar & View will loosen its collar by welcoming guests to Picnic in the Pods on July 4 from 7 to 11 p.m. Guests will have the pleasure of enjoying all the city's best fireworks displays while feasting on Southern Fried Chicken, Cole Slaw & all the “fixin’s.” For more mature viewers, The Sun Dial will offer a fully-stocked cash bar. Entrance fee for the event, $30 per adult & $15 per child under 12, includes the cover charge and food. Tickets to Picnic in the Pods are limited and available at www.ticketalternative.com. The Restaurant will feature an early and a late seating that evening: Sun Dial's Executive Chef will present a special three-course menu for $59 per person (tax and gratuity not included). Reservations are recommended for the dining room. Dinner guests will receive complimentary admission to the Bar Level. The Bar Level presents an excellent choice for patrons who are 16 and older. Cocktails and lounge menu will be available, and Atlanta's favorite jazz ensemble The Mose Davis Trio will perform for a special July 4th celebration. Cover for the Bar Level on July 4 will be only $10. The Bar will be open 4 to Close. The Sun Dial Restaurant, Bar & View is Atlanta's only tri-level complex featuring a revolving upscale restaurant, a rotating cocktail lounge, as well as an observatory view level. Situated atop the The Westin Peachtree Plaza at 210 Peachtree Street in downtown Atlanta, the Sun Dial offers breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views of Atlanta, live jazz, seasonally-influenced contemporary American cuisine and specialty desserts.
