Chef Justin Mason Executive Chef, The Sun Dial Restaurant, Bar & View

Justin Mason believes in supporting the Atlanta community by creating fresh, flavorful dishes that highlight local and regional products as much as possible. He has been an integral part of The Sun Dial team since joining as the sous chef in 2014 and quickly established his reputation for chef-driven, innovative cuisine. His diverse culinary experience ranges from luxury resorts to fine dining restaurants where he trained under some of the country’s premier chefs.

He has been recognized by top culinary media outlets, including a rave review from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution naming one of his creations as a dish “you gotta have.” Chef Justin received a bachelor’s degree in restaurant hospitality in 2006 at the New England Culinary Institute. Chef Ralph Trillo Sous Chef, The Sun Dial Restaurant, Bar & View

Ralph Trillo was inspired by his grandfather and followed in his creative culinary footsteps. Chef Ralph joined The Westin Peachtree Plaza’s culinary team in 2014 and has a true passion for Atlanta’s local craft beer and fine whiskey. He has managed numerous projects with The Westin Peachtree Plaza, including several events and dinners. Notably, he served on a taskforce to launch The Westin Denver International Airport hotel. Chef Khoi V. Nguyen Pastry Chef, The Sun Dial Restaurant, Bar & View

Renowned for his masterful dessert creations, Pastry Chef Khoi V. Nguyen has been commissioned to create some of the most important pastries in Atlanta’s history, including a Fulton County Stadium cake for the Braves World Series team, a cake replica of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Center and the city’s 150th birthday cake.

Khoi has worked at The Westin Peachtree Plaza since it opened in 1976. He began in the pastry shop, where he fell in love with the entire creative process, and he later became an apprentice to the pastry chef. In 1980, Khoi was recruited by the Omni International Hotel but was reunited with The Westin Peachtree Plaza two years later.
